Sharing contacts on Distill lets you expand your search by tapping into your networks. You can view and filter through both your connections and those in your network, helping you uncover more relevant people. Click on Contacts on the nav bar to get started, or you can access and start connecting directly from your dashboard.

Benefits of Connecting

• Invite them to Distill and give access to each other’s LinkedIn network.

• Search through a specific person or your whole network.

  Search the network of a particular contact, or enable search across all members of your network using People Search.

How to Connect and Share Contacts

You can see all the options available to you in multiple places within Distill. You’ll see all available options above your Distill login. If your connection is already a user, they will be prompted to accept the invite to join your network. If they are not a user, they will be prompted to sign up for Distill and then connect.

1. On your Home Dashboard or Contacts tab you can see the options to connect with someone.

   

   Option 1: Send an Invite via Email

   • You can send a direct email of someone you want to connect with on Distill. Go the Nav bar and locate the email icon to send an invite. You can type in their email address to send an invite. If they’re not already a Distill user, they’ll be prompted to sign up.

   Option 2: Share your invite link

   • Every user has a personal invite link they can share to connect on Distill. Go to the Nav sidebar and look for the invite link URL with the clipboard icon. Left-click on the invite link or press copy to share with others. The share link should look like distill.fyi/connect/

   Option 3: Share your personal QR link to connect

   • You can download your QR code as an image and connect using that code. See article for more details, You can share a QR link to connect

     Option 4: When viewing a profile

• You’ll see an option to connect with them in the header. The status will update to Connected once you’ve linked.

Option 5: On your Contacts page, find a synced contact you want to connect with

1. Once they accept the invite, you can see all your network connections on your Contacts page for review.
2. Sharing your invite and connecting will automatically share contacts on Distill. You can connect with other people in your LinkedIn network by going to your Contacts page and share contacts there.

Click on the toggle to start connecting with them.
