Highlights give you a quick summary of someone’s career and personal background. We split into Professional and Personal sections, which help you quickly understand what they’ve done and what sets them apart. Useful for meeting prep, research, or quick context.

How it works

For people profiles, we will show up to 7 total highlights, split between professional and personal highlights.

• Each source can have multiple references and may include multiple cited sources that can be reviewed by visiting the source directly.

• Professional Highlights are designed to showcase a person or company’s most impactful accomplishments relating to their work experience.

  

  We'll include hyperlinks to known people and company profiles in the highlights. Ex. Dropbox

• Personal Highlights bring personal information about a person by capturing details that don’t typically appear on a resume (only available when viewing people's profiles).

  

  This may be information that they post on their social profiles or a personal website or something they may have mentioned in an article or interview.

Company profiles Highlights

Company Highlights give you a snapshot of the most important updates about a company. This can include notable news, recent milestones, product launches, investment updates, significant projects, or any other activity the company is recognized for.

• We will directly mention and link to the founder’s Distill profiles within the highlights.
