When you invite someone to Distill using your invite code (See How to Connect & Share Contacts on Distill), they get access to Distill, and you are now able to share contacts, which lets you perform more advanced searches through your own network, as well as within your network.

How the Invitation Works

As the Sender, see How to Connect and Share Contacts on Distill. As the recipient:

You’ll get the invitation from an existing Distill user:

• As an email sent directly to your inbox.
• Or, as a link they share with you. Ex. https://distill.fyi/connect/rPUmp7

1. Accept the Invitation

   Click the link in your email or the shared URL. This will take you to Distill, where you’ll be prompted to accept the uest.

   • If you are an existing user, you will see an invitation to accept
   • If you are not a user, you will be prompted to sign up for Distill. See Onboarding.
     • You will need to accept our terms of service and privacy policy.
     • You will then use a Google account or email to sign up.

2. You’re now connected! You can now manage your contacts on the Dashboard or Contacts & Sharing tab, and also connect with others and invite others to try Distill using your share link. See How to Share Contacts to learn more.

   • You can also search through your network using People Search.
