Intro Path helps you find the best route to an introduction by analyzing your mutual connections. Intro paths are available on both people and company profiles.
Requirements: You must have the Distill Chrome extension to see Intro paths and mutuals, in general. See what the Chrome extension provides to learn more.
You’ll see their titles, company, location, and total number of shared mutuals.
Icons to indicate if you went to the same school or worked at the same company.
We’ll show if you and your intro path are connected on LinkedIn, and when.
Similar to People intro paths, Company Intro paths display individuals connected to the company you’re researching, along with the most efficient and direct route for an introduction.
Like people intro paths, we’ll show any relevant overlap and whether they are connected directly on LinkedIn.
We will show if they are a current employee at that company.
If you share multiple mutual connections with the person at the company, we will display those connections in groups.
When viewing intro paths to a person or company, you’ll see if someone from Your Network (the people you’ve connected with on Distill) is a potential path. This highlights paths that come from your direct Distill connections in your network and helps you spot warm introductions, while saving time by letting you focus on the best connections. Here’s how it works:
Search for a person or company in Distill.
Open the Intro Paths view.
Under each intro path, you’ll now see whether your team has any connections to any of the intro paths.
If you want to hide any pathway connections, you can press the Hide button on the top right when you click on each relationship by clicking on the (⋮) and pressing Hide. You can unhide any of the intro paths in the “hidden profiles” section at the top of all intro paths.
