Need to find a person or company fast? Use the Search Lookup bar at the top of your Distill account. Here are a few different ways you can look someone up:

• At the top of your Distill account, you can search by name or email

  • Tip: Name and company name can help narrow your results

• Or, paste a LinkedIn URL to go straight to the profile.

• You can also search for specific titles, like CEO.

• We’ll also show recent profiles you’ve viewed

  

Natural Language Search

You can also search for people and companies in the Search Lookup using natural language. You don’t need special keywords or commands and you can type the way you’d typically ask a question. Write like you’re talking to a person, and the system will understand and find the right results for you.

• Ex. Show me founders in SF or VCs who invest in Seed startups.

Guided Advanced Search options

In addition to natural language search, we also offer guided search options. Use them to look up investors, people, or companies with structured filters for more precise results.
